Jim was a friend from age 5 until the end of high school. we were always on the same hockey team. He was a great player. I was at birthday parties, etc. We always were up to something. We lost touch after school but that is life. I was sad to hear of his passing and am sorry for your loss. - Posted by: Scott Lewis (Friend growing up) on: Dec 18, 2014

I am very sad to hear the passing of my best friend at work. We shared many memories as we hired out together in the same class. We had a lot of fun in the CP Hockey tournaments, Golf tournaments and of course our trip to Kamloops and Cranbrook B.C. Can't forget our trip to Calgary for the Engineer course. My condolences go out to the Hill family. - Posted by: Brian Klump (Friend) on: Oct 06, 2014

Though I've never met Jim, he must've been a great husband, friend, and father to have been married to his wife, Kathy. She's a sweetheart. He must've been a great husband as well. Blessings and respect Kathy. - Posted by: Daniel Marcoux (wife's co-worker) on: Oct 05, 2014

The Hills helped me at the cottage for years... Opening and closing, chopping and stacking, hauling, towing and switching up motors and boats. Jim was a keen fisherman and loved to be at the Bag Bay lodge with his 'boys' and Kath. They adapted to the basic, 'step up from camping' life on Shoal Lake. Taking care of his family Jim made the step up to a bigger boat to transport everyone ...glad to take everyone tubing and fishing. And fishing... He was in his element to be sure. Lots of good summer memories ... Never enough fishing. Cathy & Terry - Posted by: Cathy Murray (family friend, former colleague of Kathy) on: Oct 04, 2014
