MARY KINDRED On September 25, 2014, at Seven Oaks Hospital, our mother (mama) completed her life journey on earth and began her spiritual journey with God, our Holy Father in Heaven. Mary will lovingly be missed and remembered by her children, Len (Cheryll), Nancy (Doug), Deborah (Rick) and Marilyn (David); grandchildren, Brandi, Kristy, Carly, Meagan, Susie and Billy; great-grandchildren, Madison, Lochlin, Audrey and James; along with nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband William (Bill); five brothers; two sisters; son-in-law George; and her dogs Bobo, Max and Spike. Mama loved to bake, cook and sew, along with her flowers, plants and garden, as well as her love of dogs. She was a dedicated lifelong member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, Ukrainian Catholic Women's League (UCWL) and the Apostleship Prayer Group. We will miss her traditional Ukrainian dishes, especially at Christmas and Easter, her life stories and even her lifelong lectures to us. You are dear to our hearts and we will miss you very much. The family would like to acknowledge and thank Father Isidore Dziadyk, OSBM for comforting and visiting mama, as well as supporting her children during this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Nicholas Church Improvement Fund and the Winnipeg Humane Society (WHS), 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 9Z9. On Thursday, October 9, Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m., followed by Divine Liturgy at 10:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 737 Bannerman Avenue. Following the Liturgy, she will be laid to rest at Holy Family Cemetery, 4355 Main Street. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book, please visit Cropo.com CROPO FUNERL CHAPEL 204-586-8044
