Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or Memory(JEFF) ANTHONY MICHAEL JEFFREY In loving memory of Jeff, who passed away suddenly on October 5, 2014 at his home, at the age of 73 years. Jeff will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his children: Rick (Jean), Paul and Michelle (Sebastien); our mother Sybil; his grandchildren: Ryan, Larissa and Arabella; his sisters Jane and Sue, nephew Matthew, nieces Amanda and Sylvianne and their families; close friends Mike and Maurie; the Lagasse family; as well as many other friends and co-workers that had the pleasure of knowing him. Jeff was born September 29, 1941 in Oxford, England. He lived in London, England where he married in 1961 and had his three children, moving his family to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada in 1975 through his work as a diesel mechanic. Jeff lived most of his life in Fort Garry and Waverley Heights in Winnipeg, and most recently lived in Windsor Park. Jeff worked as a diesel mechanic and shop foreman until retirement at 60 years of age. Jeff then traveled back home to England to visit his family, and then went on to explore Australia and New Zealand for a couple of years, which he enjoyed very much. Jeff continued to work part-time in his retirement. Jeff enjoyed playing darts for many years at the Legion, and his greatest interest was cars and vehicles of all kinds. Jeff knew a lot about cars and enjoyed trying out new vehicles over the course of his life. Jeff loved to chat with friends and family, and spend time with his beloved pets. Jeff enjoyed the outdoors, listening to live music, going for coffee, and going to the Sunday car shows. Jeff was a loving father and grandfather and was always willing to help friends and family. Jeff was a pleasant man that enjoyed life and was liked by all. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 200-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6; or to the family to contribute to a memorial Park Bench in Jeff's name, through the City of Winnipeg Park Bench Donation Program.
