Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLEWIS VAUGHAN (PAT) PATTESON June 21, 1920 October 8, 2014 Pat passed away peacefully and with dignity at The Waterford Care Centre. His last hours were spent with family. He was predeceased by Ina, his loving wife of 51 years, on October 16, 21 years ago, by his brother Wes (Lorraine) and sister Evelyn (Owen). He is survived by his daughter Judy and son-in-law, Terry Mager, his much loved grandchildren, Jennifer Mager (Lee) and Jeff Mager (Carie), and two special great-grandchildren, Alex and Mackenzie. He is also survived by sisters-in-law Jean and Doreen, plus many nieces and nephews. Pat was born in Medora, Manitoba and served his country in The Royal Canadian Navy during the Second World War, doing convoy duty in the north Atlantic. After several career choices, Pat and Ina built up a successful business in Winnipeg with branches in Montreal, Calgary and Abbotsford. After selling the business and retiring, Pat and Ina moved to Tsawwassen and briefly to Victoria. They spent many winters in Tucson. He enjoyed family, travel, flying and golf. One of his greatest joys was the family dogs. The family would like to thank the staff of The Waterford Assisted Living and Care Floors, for making Pat part of their family. A special thanks to Dr. Jim Park. A private family graveside service will be held at Pat's request. If so wished, donations may be made in his memory to a charity of choice.
