Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDIANA LYNN VADEBONCOEUR (nee LOVEDAY) On October 10, 2014, after a long battle with lung cancer, Diana Vadeboncoeur passed away at the age of 53 years. Diana grew up on Kingston Row and attended Windsor School followed by Glenlawn Collegiate. After graduating from Red River Community College as a dental assistant, she worked with Dr. John Dillon for more than 20 years. Not one to stay idle, Diana went back to school and became a certified teaching assistant working at Laidlaw then George McDowel schools. Diana loved the outdoors, spending summers as well as winter holidays at the family cottage on Lake of the Woods. She was very devoted to her family and always thought of others before herself. She leaves behind her beloved husband Roy; three beautiful daughters Jaclyn, Sarah and Kate; parents Betty and Fred Loveday; sister Joanne Butcher, and brother Burton Loveday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Children's Wish Foundation. Memorial service 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 17, 2014 at St. Timothy Parish, 135 John Forsyth Road. Diana and I worked together at Laidlaw. She was a true team player and was easy & fun to work with. Diana had a warm, encouraging and welcoming manner with children which drew them to her so that they always enjoyed working with her. Diana always spoke fondly and proudly of her three girls and Roy. I will keep you all in my thoughts. - Posted by: Liann Pelser (Worked together at Laidlaw School.) on: Oct 20, 2014

I met Diana back in 1984 when I started to work with Dr. Dillon. We had so much in common, being the same age and raising daughters, that our frequent lunches would end close to dinner time! (We always picked places with free parking after the lunch exceeded the street parking time limit once!). I will miss her lovely smile, and her listening ear. She was a dear friend, and such a trooper over her health issues the last while. She was so proud of her girls, and I know that they will make her proud. So sorry that I won't be at the service, as I am traveling in the US. Know that Wes and I are thinking of you all. Hard to start this - there just are no words - I have tried three times to start writing and just can't easily find any words that can express how tragic and sad this is. Diana was a co-volleyball- mom with me when our daughters (Heather & Sarah), played volleyball together. We spent so many weekends sitting up in the bleachers, working the canteen, driving the highways, grabbing coffees, chatting, and watching our girls play volleyball. Diana was always easy to be with, easy to talk to, and party with - I always remember how Diana and Roy had a blender with them in the hotel and would be making frozen margaritas for all the parents! We had a lot of fun together. I am sure this is an incredibly difficult loss to bear. My thoughts have been with you since I heard the news. My sincere condolences. Your wife and mother's spirit lives on and she is so very proud of the strength, courage and love her family demonstrated in the challenging times as you graciously walked every step of the way with her, right by her side. Her deep love, her rich life and everything that makes her so special to you will live on through your memories. You are in our thoughts, as our hearts ache for you. Diana lived down the road from me on Kingston Row when we were children. We attended Windsor and Glenlawn together. We spent many happy hours together playing at each other's homes when we were young children. Many a happy birthday party was celebrated together in those years. Sadly, as time went on and we reached our high school years we grew apart but the memories are always there. Diana I shall always remember your beautiful smile and your trademark long, wavy blonde hair. Rest peacefully. My condolences to the family during this difficult time. - Posted by: Debra Stansfield (nee Bayes) (elementary and high school mate) on: Oct 16, 2014
