JOHN ACHTEMICHUK October 27, 1925 - October 12, 2014 John died peacefully with his family at his bedside, after two years suffering with cancer. He leaves to mourn his wife Edna (Komeshen); son Gary; also his two grandchildren, Maxine and Johnny. His brother Joe and Tess; sister-in-law Olga; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Many thanks to all the staff at Victoria Hospital for John's care. Funeral Service will be held Monday, October 20, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Ukrainian Orthodox Metropolitan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, 1175 Main Street. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Trinity Cathedral towards the parking lot or CancerCare Manitoba. CROPO 204-586-8044
