LENA YABLONSKY (nee PURKIS) It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts our family announces the passing of Lena on October 15, 2014 in Winnipeg. Lena was predeceased by her husband Bill of 31 years, on March 5 1997. Lena is survived by her two children, daughter Lisa Munro and husband Keven, and Ron Yablonsky, her son, cousin Alice Lange and husband Ray, sister-in-law Helen Purkis, along with numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She will be missed as well by her special extended family members, Patricia Loney and Jan and Betty Kristiansen. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Winnipeg Humane Society or CancerCare Manitoba as these were both close to Lena's heart.
