HELENE ELISABETH JORDAN It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of Helene Elisabeth Jordan on the morning of October 14, 2014 at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 84 years. She passed peacefully with family by her side following a brave battle against complications resulting from her illness. She is survived and mourned by her husband Heinz; daughter Christa (Gordon) Wakeling; granddaughters Melissa (Jason) and Christina (Nathan) as well as her brothers Heinz (Rosemary) and Eberhart (Karin). Helene was born in Germany in 1929 and immigrated to Canada with her family in 1956. Among her many talents and gifts, she was an exceptionally talented seamstress a pursuit she followed until late in life. She also loved to travel. The family would like to extend thanks to the staff at St. Boniface Hospital whose care was noted and appreciated. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that friends consider a donation to the Alzheimer Society Manitoba, 10-120 Donald St. Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
