CLIFFORD ERIC JUER SR. August 15, 1925 - October 15, 2014 It is with profound sadness and much love that we announce the peaceful passing of our father (papa) Clifford Eric Juer Sr. Left to cherish in his memory are his loving children Bonnie (Gary) Demetrioff, Brenda Martin, Walene (Jim) Young, Walter (Sandy), Melody (John) Robitaille, Mark, Debbie (John) Baran, Tim (Leanne), and Shannon (Terry) Benderski. Papa was loved by his 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Also left to mourn are his brother Brian and sister Louise Price, sisters-in-law Marge Ward and Elenor Juer and their families. Dad was predeceased by his wife Irene, his daughter Kimberly, his mother Maude, his stepfather Algey, and his brothers Ralph and Walter. Dad was born in Mulvihill, Manitoba and later moved to the city to start his career with Northstar Oil which later became Shell Oil. After 35 years of service at Shell Refinery Dad retired to spend his years enjoying his passion for hunting and fishing. Dad was very instrumental in the creation of both the Heather Game and Fish Association and The Flying Fishermen Club which he was a founding member of both. Some of Dad's favourite memories are times that were spent with family and friends at the lake in Lac Du Bonnet and Gammon River. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Meadow Manor Chapel, 577 St. Anne's Rd., Winnipeg, MB. A private family interment will be held at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined, if friends so desire, donations may be made to a charity of their choice.

  • Our (Gow Family - Alyce, Jaime & Melissa) condolences to the Juer Family at such a great loss! Papa was a sweet and gentle man who always had a smile for everyone. He made my mother-in-law, Lou Gow, very happy during the 15 or so years they had together, before she passed away in 1993. He will remain in our hearts. • So sorry for family's loss. Our thoughts and wonderful memories of Clifford will always be remembered. Whenever I got in trouble at the lake for either loud music or late parties, all Clifford ever said was "you should have seen us when we were your age, we were much worse". Our condolences . - Posted by: Glen & Carol Wozney (Friend from lake) on: Nov 03, 2014

  • As a young guy starting with Shell in the mid 70s, Cliff was one of the senior guys. He was upbeat and always found time to talk to you. Thanks for trading chicken breasts for wings Cliff! - Posted by: Victor Laird (co-worker) on: Nov 01, 2014
