My heartfelt condolences to Rita and Ron, Cynthia, Sarah and Gideon and the extended family. My sons attended school with Ethan and my daughter rode at the same barn as Cynthia, many years ago. I met Ethan as a little boy when he started grade one. He visited our home a few times to play with my boys and when he visited the barn with Cynthia and Sarah, he played with my daughter, They used to have frozen manure fights at the barn, (go figure). Ethan was the cutest little boy with big brown eyes and so sweet. I so enjoyed meeting the Stock family, they are generous and loving people. My family left Winnipeg a number of years ago, but, we were all so saddened to hear of the loss of Ethan. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. Gina and family. - Posted by: Gina Teskey, Joseph, Rebecca and Simon (Friend) on: Nov 17, 2014

A fixture all over Charleswood. Parties, BBQ's, The Charley, or just seeing him at Safeway Ethan always had a minute to chat and I was always greeted with; "Niiiiiiiiz!" He was friendly personified. My deepest condolences to all the Stock family, Angel & Summer Ethan had such a warm, pleasant, engaging personality with a good sense of humour. He always stopped to talk & share a laugh. I remember seeing him playing with Summer in the park. He was so proud of his beautiful little girl. What a terrible tragic loss. - Posted by: Bob Dalzell (Family friend) on: Nov 12, 2014

I have been a friend of Ethan's parents most of my life. The last 26 years I have been living in BC and did not get to spend much time with Ethan other than visits to Winnipeg. Ethan did not treat me like someone he rarely spent time with. He made me feel welcome in his home and I have memories of Ethan's smiling face and upbeat personality while he made me a fabulous dinner the last time I was in Winnipeg. I will miss him on my next visit to the family. Mel - Posted by: Mel Inglis (Friend) on: Nov 11, 2014

Ethan was a friend of my brothers. Although I did not know him as much as my brother did. He was always such a nice guy with lots of energy. I would run into him at our cottage with my bro in the summer, see him while I was running at the through Assimboine park, and other random times. He would always make the time to say hi and would always chat about new things going on. Jets/Bombers talk, how everyone was doing, and how our jobs were. In those moments we would also discuss my hockey team and his flag football team which he enjoyed so much. I felt He was such an easy going person that enjoyed the people around him. Prayers out to the entire family. R.I.P Ethan. - Posted by: Shane Stiller (Friend) on: Nov 10, 2014

R.I.P Ethan you definitely will not be forgotten. - Posted by: jeremy (friend) on: Nov 10, 2014

Ethan and I had been friends since I was 12. We actually just discussed this days ago, one day when I was living in Shelmerdines -and we laughed and laughed about it. It was only until about 5 years ago we had grown closer - and even closer these last few months. We were always there for each other:) I at least had the chance to give him a kiss on his helmet on Tuesday. My prayers go out to the Stock family, Angel, and his beautiful daughter Summer. Ride on E!!!! Xox - Posted by: Erin (Close friend) on: Nov 10, 2014
