BRENDA KIBSEY It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Brenda Leigh Kibsey (Peeler) on November 3, 2014 at the age of 64, after a brave and hard fought battle with cancer. Left to mourn her passing are her daughter Natalie (Kevin) MacFarlane their children Ethan and Sara, her son Mike (Caroline) their children Michael and soon Veronica, her sister Debbie and son Orlando, brother Rod and family, and sister Norene and family. Predeceased are her husband Mike, her father and mother Jim and Doris, and brother Barry. Mom was always taking care of others with all of her love and kindness. She adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with the ones here almost daily. She loved her flowers and looked forward each year to making them the best around. She also took great delight in finding the best possible things for her grandchildren and seeing the joy it brought to them. Mom's true happiness came from watching the joy she brought to others, whether it was her family or friends. Mom grew up in Neepawa and moved to Winnipeg as a child. After graduating from Success Business School, she worked for most of her life but when she had her children she stayed at home to ensure she raised great kids and she did! Her last several years have been spent enjoying all her hard work by taking delight in her condo, her family, and life. She was very grateful for the travelling she was able to do and loved Vegas on her 60th birthday and visiting the White House as a special invitee. Thank you to Dr. Dhanjal for all his kindness. Cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Brenda's name to the Assiniboine Park Conservancy, a place that brought her true happiness.

  • To the family, we are truly sorry for your loss. Brenda was far too young for this to have happened. Be comforted with your memories of her. Sadly the "Johnson Family" members is shrinking. • I met Brenda when my Mom was in the hospital before she passed away in May. I called her several times after my Mom passed away just to see how she was. I barely knew her but in each conversation she tried to encourage me in my battle with breast cancer and try and comfort me thru the loss of my Mom. My deepest sympathies to all of you. - Posted by: Angie Pilek () on: Nov 08, 2014
