AUDREY IRENE JOHNSTONE August 8, 1925 - November 11, 2013 A year has passed and you've been missed so much. The first robin came without us being able to call you and share the good news of Spring's arrival. There've been home renovations, new jobs, family from overseas returning home and another great grand-daughter arriving in January that we're so sorry you won't be able to hold. There have been so many other things we've wanted to share with you and cannot, hear your laugh at our adventures or take comfort in your words when we need your support. Our large family has all missed your warmth and your sparkle, at times the pain of your absence has been too much to bear. A meager year has passed after having 88 fulfilling years with you, and your absence has been felt and acknowledged almost daily. The impact you had upon our lives and our outlook was a gift we are all better for knowing and a blessing we are all grateful for. We feel you watching over us and guiding us, always encouraging us to be good to each other. With every thought of you we are reminded of how important you were to us. How many lessons you taught us. How many memories we shared. How much time we had together. How your influence shaped our lives and how we're better people because of you. Your legacy, your love, and your story will be shared with your upcoming great-grand daughter and eternally cherished by those who knew and loved you. Sadly missed by the Michies, the Johnstones and the Krahns.
