Anne-Marie was my first cousin as our mom's Mary and Margaret were sisters. Our sincere sympathies to Ron and the whole family. - Posted by: Henry Desjarlais and Family (Cousin) on: Nov 23, 2014

Our sincere sympathy to Ron and the Gilkes family. I really did not know Anne but when Bertie, Dad, Jerry & myself came to Winnipeg Beach, Anne opened up her home and made Jerry & I very comfortable. We both enjoyed the time we spent with Ron & Anne. Anne had a beautiful soul and it did shine when she smiled. Our thoughts & prayers are with you at this difficult time. - Posted by: Corinne Pelland (Family) on: Nov 16, 2014

My deepest condolences to the entire Gilkes family. I have known this family for 45 years and know what a special relationship they all had with their mom Anne. She was an amazing lady and I know how important she was in their lives and her husband Ronnie's life. May she rest in peace knowing what an amazing family she raised and knowing they will always be there for each other as they always are. Thinking of you all during this sad time.
