TANNER JAYCE CRAIG Tanner (T-Man or Tan Man) left us unexpectedly for a better life on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the tender age of four at home. Tanner leaves behind his sister Jayda, parents Chad and Lindsay Craig, his grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins and a huge extended family. Born February 25, 2010 at St. Boniface Hospital to two very proud parents and an eager big sister. Tanner's life was full of challenges that could never keep him down for long. He was a courageous little boy that never showed frustration in the face of adversity. Just an eager little boy ready to tackle anything his body would allow him to. Tanner was a very special son, brother, grandchild and friend that brought joy to many lives during the short time he spent with us. His smile and laughter would light up a room. He opened our eyes to the simpler things in life like, learning to roll over, discovering he could explore the house little by little, operate the car window with his foot or being pushed around the house by his sister Jayda in his chair. She was his best friend in the world. He enjoyed skating, swimming, walks and watching movies with his family and friends. He loved chocolate milk, cheerio's and yogurt. But most of all he loved his family and friends. He was everyone's little buddy and will be greatly missed. We All Miss You Buddy!!! A celebration of Tanner's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Winnipeg Evangelical Free Church, 500 Lagimodière Blvd. A reception will follow at Glen Lawn Reception Centre at 455 Lagimodière Blvd. Thank you to the staff at the Movement Centre of Manitoba for believing in Tanner and allowing him to achieve his full potential (a truly special place), the staff at the YMCA Daycare for Tanner's daily care and helping him play with his friends, Tanner's doctors (Dr. Michelle Evans, Dr. Tannis Wiebe, his Aunty Lori, Dr. Greenberg, Jessica Hartley) for looking after Tanner during his more difficult times, Tanner's therapists for teaching others to support Tanner's needs, the special families we've met over the years that have provided unconditional support, Tanner's many friends at the Movement Centre, daycare and his large extended family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Movement Centre of Manitoba, 1646 Henderson Hwy., Winnipeg, MB R2G 1N7 in Tanner's memory. Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenlawn.ca Glen Lawn Funeral Home 204-982-7550
