MYRTLE BARBER On December 2, 2014, Myrtle passed away peacefully at the Riverview Health Centre at the age of 87. Leaving to mourn her passing is her loving husband of 60 years Keith, daughters Marlene (Ron) Oige, and Cheryl (Russ) Morrow, grandchildren Jenny (Andrew) Tait, Chris Oige, Matt McKillop, Kathy McKillop, great-grandchildren Kaiden McKillop and Mason Oige. Also mourning her loss is sister Lillian (Barry) Rosenbaum and family (Estevan, SK). Myrtle was predeceased by her parents James and Elizabeth Jasky (Moose Jaw, SK), and brother Jerry Jasky (Ottawa, ON) In her early years Myrtle was a teacher in Saskatchewan and married Keith in July, 1954. They moved to Winnipeg in 1959 and have resided there ever since. Myrtle was a member of Grey St. United Church for over 50 years serving as Superintendent of the Sunday School for a number of years. Myrtle especially loved her Friday Golden Age bowling league at Rossmere Lanes. A memorial service will be held at Grey St. United Church, corner of Grey and Sandhurst, on Monday, December 29, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. Donations in her memory may be made to the Grey Street Memorial Fund or to a charity of your choice.
