Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRUFINO SANCHEZ MARQUEZ July 29, 1938 - December 4, 2014 It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Rufino (Rufing) on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the age of 76. Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife Florence "Nene"; daughter Mary-Anne (Sonny) Cenidoza; grandchildren Bryan, Bryson and Malorie; sister, Aurora Salamera; brothers Romeo and Rodrigo and their respective children and grandchildren. Special thanks are extended to all the doctors, nurses and assistants at the Health Sciences Centre (ER/G4), CancerCare, Palliative Care nurse Carol McKenzie and Dr. Timothy Chan of Balmoral Medical Centre. Viewing (Lamay) will be held on Friday, December 12 and Saturday, December 13, 2014, commencing at 6:00 p.m. at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd., Winnipeg, MB. Vigil Prayers will be recited at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday evening. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 15, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Edward's Roman Catholic Church, 836 Arlington St., Winnipeg, MB, Rev. Father Rainerio Sarce celebrant. Cremation will follow the Funeral Mass. A reception for family and friends will be held at Mosaic Reception Centre following the Funeral Mass. My fondest memories of my Ninong is hanging out with my father and their buddies, drinking, playing cards, and laughing! He was always kind and loving towards me.
