Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySHELLEY ANN THOMSON March 6, 1962 - December 5, 2014 With saddened hearts we announce that Heaven received another sweet Angel on December 5, 2014. Our sister, daughter, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and best friend Shelley Ann was welcomed with loving open arms by our mom and brother Chris. Also there to greet her in heaven are both sets of grandparents; uncles Bud, Herb, Otto and Jimmy. Shelley leaves to celebrate her life father William (June); siblings Keith, Kathy (Ken) and Debbie (Danny); nephews Kyle (Susie), Justin and Matthew; nieces Kari (Geoff), Elisha and Sierra; great-nieces Jayden and Piper; great-nephews Benjamin, Jackson and Zachary; cousins Leon and Ruth and their families; Aunts Pat and Nettie as well as family from Edinburgh, Scotland; Aunt Sandra and Uncle Walter, Auntie Betty her son Mike (Anna) and their son Lewis. Shelley, you will forever and ever be remembered for your big bright smile, that sparkle that shined in your eyes, that infectious laugh and the love you poured out for your family and friends. You are now the largest star in the sky...shinning, dancing and singing forever. God rest your soul and you may rejoice in Heaven with Mom and Chris and be happy for eternity. The family thanks the nursing staff and Dr. F. Bovall on 4 South at Victoria General Hospital for their utmost compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in memory of Shelley to L'Avenir Co-op, Simaril Inc or the Cerebral Palsy Association of Manitoba. There will be a celebration of life and lunch held for Shelley on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. at the Army Navy and Air Force Club, 300-1395 Ellice Avenue (entrance faces Empress Street). Shelley, I have so many wonderful memories of you and your family. To this day I treasure the note you wrote me on my wedding day. Thank you for your friendship. I was privileged to become friends with Shelley after working for her at L'Avenir. Shelley was a very, very special person whom I will miss. Corydon Ave. dances won't be the same without you!! The coffee shops either!! I just want to say to Keith (Shelley's Brother) You are a very caring brother, you gave Shelley the power and the life she wanted to live. You were there for her ALWAYS. I can only image the void you have in your life right now......I am so sorry. We all could only wish we had a BROTHER like you!! December 5th, was a very sad day for so many people, when our precious Shelley went to be with her Mom and Brother. Shelley, you made so many people's lives so rich, including myself, with your infectious laugh and all your love. So proud to call you my friend. We will all miss you so much.
