Ed leaves to celebrate his life daughter Kristiana Schmidt, son-in-law Brent, and granddaughters Victoria and Alexandria. Ed also leaves behind son Andrew, daughter-in-law Julie, and grandchildren Lexus and Tyree. He was predeceased by wife Yvonne (Arnason) who passed away in 2001. Ed worked most of his life at C.N.R. before his early retirement. He enjoyed time with his children and their interest in sports and extracurricular activities. Ed coached his daughter's baseball team to the provincial finals and was always there to take his kids to hockey or Scouts. Ed would also be known to grab a hockey stick for a game of shinny with Andrew and his friends on the street. When his wife passed away in 2001, Ed enjoyed curling and dances on the weekend, or just going out for coffee. sorry for your loss,i will always have fond memoreies of time we spent with eddy and his great sense of humor. on a trip from edmonton to visit ed and gramma he told us a story ,about our screws-being loose(our belly buttons) and our cheeks where going to fall off, and we would have to get some bum glue (i guess you had to be there) All us kids were in tears we were laughing so hard. Your dad had the best sense of humor. We have some great memories. With deepest sympathy, Brian and Anna and Scott Rose - Posted by: Brian and Anna and Scott Rose (nephew and family (John Rose son)) on: Dec 13, 2014
