DORIS MITCHELL Doris Mitchell, affectionately known as Aunt Dora, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at West Park Manor Personal Care Home in Winnipeg, MB, at the age of 98 years. Doris was born in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. She grew up in Winnipeg and Molson before returning to Winnipeg to work. She was predeceased by her parents, Ada and Harry Mitchell, sisters Zoe Palmer, Grace Fowler, brothers Teddy, and Harold her twin. She is survived by brothers John and Stanley, as well as other relatives across the country. Doris will be remembered for her sharp wit, easy going manner, good memory and quiet strength. She'll be missed by her family and all those that knew her. A special thanks for the care she received from the staff at West Park Manor. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Ave., Winnipeg, today, December 20, 2014 at 2:00 p.m.
