So honored to have been a part of Grams life and now to celebrate her with fondest memories and hearts full of respect, admiration and love! My Grams taught me so many life lessons... The best of which is loving others without judgement. All who know her can testify to this. I failed my Grams many times over and was ALWAYS met with forgiveness, understanding and love. She is a gift to me from God! I am humbled to be here and with our family celebrate Grams. She inspires me and always will... Till we meet again...xxx Rebecca - Posted by: Becca Aitken (Granddaughter ) on: Jan 01, 2015

Barry and Jean, I am very sorry of the passing of your mum. Rick let me know. It has been such a long time that we have seen each other, I am not sure I met your mum. My sincere condolences go out to you and your family. Pat - Posted by: Pat Hallstead (Friend of Barry and Jean) on: Jan 01, 2015

So incredibly blessed to have had such a wonderful grandmother. Grandma was so encouraging, positive and always had a delightful sense of humor. I will cherish the time I got a chance to live with her for two months just after I graduated High School, during that time she taught me many things, most importantly the properties of water. Grandma was very proud when I received my teaching degree often telling me it was the "noblest" of professions. Her first words to me as a new teacher, "Kevin, at the very least don't make them any worse." Classic Grandma. Although we will miss her so much her legacy and impact on this earth will live forever. She is now at peace in Heaven. I love you Grandma! - Posted by: Kevin (Grandson) on: Dec 31, 2014

Too many wonderful memories to tell them all, but a few that come to mind, Gram's oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, sharing stories sitting in the porch, sliding down Gram's stairs, summer visits.... the list goes on and on. We love you, we will miss you, however we can all take comfort in knowing that you are Home. Lots of Love, Tammy - Posted by: Tammy Richardson (Granddaughter) on: Dec 31, 2014
