MARIE YUZARK (nee DALGARNO) May 31, 1922 - January 1, 2015 Peacefully, at the age of 92, with family by her side, Marie passed away on January 1, 2015 at the Betel Home in Selkirk, Manitoba. Marie is survived by her sister Isabella Chamberlain, and Marie's three children, Ron (Marilyn), Ronda (Phil), and Rob (Tammy). She will be sadly missed by her seven grandchildren, Tricia, (Colin), Scott (Lucy), John Paul (Laura), Katherine, Russel, Nick and Bobbi, her great-grandchildren William and Olivia and several friends, cousins, in-laws, nieces and nephews. As a child Marie lived on Royal Avenue in West Kildonan, for a short time, living the majority of her life in St. Andrews, Manitoba. Throughout her life she had many different roles. She was active with Little Britain United Church, St. Andrew School's Parent Councils, St. Andrews Community Club and volunteered with numerous other organizations. Her love of animals, gardening, a good card game, baking, and perogies making were some of mom's enjoyments, even later in life. A special thank you to the doctors and staff at the Betel Home, for taking excellent care of mom the past several years. There will be a spring family service at a later date. • I have many great memories of Aunt Marie and Uncle Nick. I especially remember the time when I came home from work in Thornhill Ontario and they were sitting in our house. They got into the house when little Marilyn crawled through the milk box and opened the door. Unexpectedly, they had come for a visit. My parents were at the cottage near Midland, and I took them up to the cottage. What a surprise for all. This was very typical of them. I shed tears, today, thinking of the good times we had so many years ago. My condolences to the family. - Posted by: Terry Yuzwak (newphew) on: Jan 03, 2015
