HENRY H. FEHR 1920 - 2015 Henry H. Fehr, age 94 years, of Winkler, MB passed peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Saviour on January 2, 2015 at Salem Home where he resided a few rooms away from his wife of 71 years. His greatest earthly treasure was his wife, Katherine (nee Penner) who mourns his passing together with their nine children, Helen Hamm (Abe), Henry Fehr (Mary), Abe Fehr (Sylvia), John Fehr (MaryAnne), Kathy Fehr, Mary Rzeszutek (Antonio), Betty Sternberg (Scott), Margery Suderman (Ron), and Sharon Peters (Charlie), 20 grandchildren and spouses, and 16 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by three brothers and their families, Dave (Tina), Peter (Mary) and Bill (Susie), along with many nieces and nephews and their families. He was predeceased by his son-in-law, Larry Thiessen and granddaughter, Deborah Fehr-Barkman as well as his parents, Henry D. and Helena Fehr, and several siblings. Dad loved to work with his hands and spent countless hours in his workshop building creative projects for his family and friends. Many will recall his ability to talk and relate to anyone, and the great pleasure he took in reminiscing with others. He will be lovingly remembered for his quick wit and wonderful sense of humour. Dad was very sharp minded to the very end and we will dearly miss his charming crooked smile that branded him the special man he was. Viewing will be Wednesday, January 7 (today) from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Wiebe Funeral Home, 121 8th St. in Winkler and at the church prior to the service. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at the Winkler EMMC Church, 600 Southview Drive with interment at Westridge Memorial Gardens. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Henry's memory to any organization of their choice. Wiebe Funeral Home, Winkler In care of arrangements wiebefuneralhomes.com
