Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • We met Art many years ago through my father, Jack Lockett, who worked for Winnipeg School Division #1. Dad recommended Art to help us with rewiring of our newly bought home. He spent many hours in the evenings and on weekends with us, and we bacame friends. Art was always so much fun, telling jokes and playing his harmonica. He gave us a tape of his music many years ago, which we still have. We had not seen Art for several years, and we were sorry to lose touch. We often talked of him, wondering how he was getting on. Our sincere condolences to Art's family. - Posted by: Bob and Frances Harris (Friends) on: Jan 12, 2015

  • Art was a pleasure to work with at Donwood. He always had a mischievous little smile and loved to be teased. I will miss working with him. My condolences to the family. - Posted by: Marlene Mohr (Health Care Aide at Donwood Manor) on: Jan 11, 2015

  • Art was across the hall from my Mother at Donwood Manor. Whenever I would greet him he always gave me one of his wonderful smiles! I will miss that. He has left a wonderful spiritual legacy. - Posted by: Lorna Boge () on: Jan 10, 2015
