CLIFFORD (CLIFF) ENQUIST October 7, 1932- January 7, 2015 With great sadness and sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather on January 7, 2015. Cliff was born in Winnipeg, MB and attended Success Business College and the University of Manitoba to become an accountant. He worked with various companies and retired from Kinew Housing in 1998. He will be missed by his loving wife Evelyn (nee Brown); sons Chris (Cheryl), Jeff (Leanne) and Terry (Kim) as well as his grandchildren Colin, Brett, Garrett and Mikyla. The family would like to send out a big thank you to all of the staff at Victoria General Hospital (3rd and 4th floor as well as ER) where he was cared for with compassion and grace. Condolences & Memories (10 entries)

  • There's a smile gone but never forgotten! I'll always remember uncle Cliff as a kind, gentle, smiling man who was most inquisitive about what was happening in your world and had some thoughtful advice on any situations. Even though we lived far apart I greatly appreciated his wisdom whenever we crossed paths. To aunt Evelyn, Chris, Jeff and Terry and all the family, Brenda and I and our family extend our deepest condolences to you all. RIP Uncle Cliff. - Posted by: Vann & Brenda Besth (Nephew ) on: Jan 16, 2015

  • Please accept my condolences. Clifford was the only boy with four girls in grade twelve. He was a great guy. Sometimes in talking we forgot he was a male. I recognized his smile which had not changed. - Posted by: olga billyk desjardins (Fellow student in red lake high school) on: Jan 13, 2015

  • My deepest condolences to all the family. I'm so glad I had a visit with Uncle Cliff last September, while in Winnipeg. Even though he was in the hospital at that time, he still had his great sense of humour, we had a wonderful chat. I know he will be dearly missed by all. Enjoy the fond memories you each hold in your hearts. Take care. - Posted by: Kimm Werner (Niece) on: Jan 12, 2015

  • It is with regret that I extend my deepest condolences and best wishes to Evelyn and family at this time. For over 10 years, I was a Southdale neighbour of Cliff and Evelyn. With fondness I remember many many conversations in the back lane/yard or their kitchen about anything & everything. I remember Cliff taking great pride in his yard; being the first to close his garden. He spoke highly of his sons and their families. I never heard him say a mean or unkind thing about Evelyn. They were my dog's neighbourhood grandparents. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. Take care. - Posted by: Carl Antymniuk (Former neighbour) on: Jan 11, 2015

  • We will always remember Uncle Clifford as happy, smiling, and accepting of everyone. We have wonderful memories of our families regularly spending many happy hours together laughing, visiting, and playing cards. Having worked with Uncle Clifford I had the pleasure of enjoying his friendship, work integrity, and dedication. Uncle Clifford, myself, and his boss enjoyed playing pool together on many occasions. We wish the family solace in the knowledge that Uncle Clifford is now at peace, free from discomfort and no doubt smiling as he has now joined his brothers and sisters. Are hearts are with Aunty Evelyn, Chris, Cheryl, Jeff, Leanne, Terry, Kim, and and all of the grandchildren. - Posted by: Arthur & Elizabeth Crozier (Nephew) on: Jan 11, 2015
