JEAN ELIZABETH LINDLEY With heavy hearts and deep sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Jean Elizabeth Lindley passed away on December 21, 2014 at 91 years of age. She leaves to mourn her son Dalton Henderson (Phyillis) of Crystal City, son Wayne Henderson of Crystal City, son Grant Henderson of Lac Du Bonnet, daughter Lana Struc of Winnipeg (Dave), daughter-in-law Brenda Combs of Sapulpa, Oklahoma (Edwin Henderson), daughter-in-law Margaret Henderson of Calgary, son-in-law Hal Lee of Winnipeg, daughter-in-law Pam Brown of Winnipeg, sister-in-law Pat Delbridge of Minnedosa, sister-in-law Jean Boyd of Brandon, brother-in-law Jim King of Winnipeg, brother-in-law Elgin Hayward of Pilot Mound, nephews Neil McConkey of Winnipeg, Mark Holland (Tara) and Tony Holland (Cheryl), grandsons Duane (Colleen) Henderson, Perry (Tara) Henderson, Brent (Crystal) Lee, Deven Henderson, Andy Brown, Brandan Struc, granddaughters Julie Lagasse (Kevin), Kathleen Lee (Gary), Cheryl Lee (Allan), Virginia Lee (Kyle), Sarah Brown, great-grandchildren Lance (Amy) Henderson, Tracie Henderson, Sidney Henderson, Reagan Henderson, Corby Henderson, Braden Henderson, Nick Henderson, Bradley Henderson, Marrissa Henderson, Courtney Lagasse, Brittney Lagasse, Lora Lee, Anthony Gallwey, Alexandra Gallwey, Savannah Lee, Kayden Hall, Amber Lee, Christopher Lee, Alexander Lee, great-great-grandson Kolby Henderson, and many nieces and nephews. Jean was predeceased by her father James, mother Sadie, husband John, brother Les, sister Ivy, daughter Lorraine, son Edwin, daughter-in-law Loretta, nephew Randy Holland, sister-in-law Ruth, sister-in-law Muriel, sister-in-law Doreen, brother-in-law Hugh Lindley, and great-grandson Stefan. Jean was born in the R.M. of Louise on April 5, 1923 . She moved to Winnipeg in 1956 and worked at Inland Motors before moving on to a 27 year career at Citadel Life Assurance as an Office Manager. Jean returned to school at the age of 51 to complete her Certified Business Administration courses at Red River Community College passing 10th in her class, she took an early retirement to enjoy being at the lake lot that she and John purchased in 1975. Jean's love of family, gardening, canning, cooking and baking are the things she treasured most of all. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Prairie View Lodge for the loving, compassionate care of our beloved. Special thanks to Dr. Najad for his special care and thoughtfulness at our time of need. In accordance with the family's wishes a memorial service will be announced and held at a later date.
