JOSE BORGES Late Monday, January 12, 2015 at Concordia Hospital, Jose Borges, beloved husband and father, passed away at 75 years. Besides his wife Clotilde he is survived by his sons Joe (Lori) and Robert. He also leaves to mourn his passing sister Maria Tavares, and many nephews, nieces, cousins and in-laws. He was predeceased by two brothers and five sisters. The family would like to thank the following home care workers: Tom, Noel, Alan, and especially his good friend Kim. Prayers will be said on Friday, January 16 at 7:00 p.m. in Cropo Funeral Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Greg Mulligan O.F.M., Cap. on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Gerard's Roman Catholic Church, 45 Foster Street. Entombment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044

Our sincere condolences to Clotilde, and especially to the "Boys" (best paperboys you could ever have) who like Jose, are hard working men, making their way in the world as influenced by their Dad. Although I never had the pleasure of knowing Jose, I know both his sons having been both a co-worker and friend to them both. It's very clear to me that Jose had a very positive influence in making the "boys" who they are today and that Jo and Robert both loved and respected their father very much.
