JOHN YAWORSKI John passed away suddenly on January 10, 2015 at the age of 83 years old. Left to cherish his memory are his brother David and sister Rose, his children Veronica Gueck (Lance), Andrew, and Roger (Cordelia), and his grandchildren Linden, Logan and Jillian. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Dad was predeceased by his parents Kazimer and Pearl, his wife Caroline, his brothers Walter, Steve, Edward, Kazimer and sister Mary. A memorial service will take place on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg, MB. John and I played in an old time wedding band around 1971 called The Whirlwinds.We entertained at many Ukranian weddings and played at several hotels like the King's and the Yale.It brings back many fond memories.John was such an easy going fellow and a joy to be with.My sincere condolences to the family. - Posted by: Lorne Mehling (Friend) on: Jan 17, 2015
