THERESA BERTHA HUNT / REID (nee MONDOR) June 6, 1927 - January 14, 2015 Theresa Hunt passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on January 14, 2015 at the age of 87. Theresa was predeceased by her first husband Charles Reid, her second husband Gordon Hunt and her son Morris Reid; also by her parents Olive St. Pierre, Francois Mondor, her five brothers and five sisters. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Ron (Joel), Lorraine, Doris (Cory), Sharon, Marlene (Richard) and Lloyd (Jodi); her grandchildren, Kristel, Stephanie, Robin, James, Nancy, Jordan, Ben, Andrew, Lauren, and great-grandson Tyler. Theresa was born and raised in Lorette. Growing up in a Catholic home, she always maintained very strong family connections and religious beliefs, which she instilled in her own children. She would light up any room she entered and loved having people around her. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with friends and family, watching black and white movies, dancing and music. Mom's special accomplishments were keeping her family close and always tried to provide a good home. Mom, we love all that you gave us! We would like to thank the staff of Misericordia Place for their friendship, support and long term care and also to the Victoria Hospital for their guidance and compassion during her final days. A private memorial service has taken place with interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Theresa's memory to Misericordia Place or The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
