Memories flow back to me of evenings spent sitting on our dock having our nightly cup of tea during our summers at the cottage in Lac du Bonnet, always looked forward to the sound of your car rolling down the driveway for your nightly visit. . Love ya big brother, rest now. - Posted by: Shirley (sister) on: Jan 24, 2015

Growing up and visiting Manitoba almost every year as a child, I remember Uncle Roy's calm and quiet presence in Grandma Olive's kitchen nightly. He worked hard and valued time with family. You will be missed, Uncle Roy. Love, April. - Posted by: April Hilland (nee Trask) (Niece) on: Jan 23, 2015

Sorry to hear of Roy's passing. I had visited him a few times in the hospital, he was always cheerful and looked forward to getting back to trucking, even though it was not to be. It made him happy to recall his trucking days. I worked with Roy at AML the past eight years or so and was honored to have known him. All the best to his family. - Posted by: Floyd Carlson (co worker) on: Jan 23, 2015

Lucky to have a big brother like him. Summers as a little kid after school or weekends riding with him in his little 1954 red single axle dump truck hauling gravel, didn't talk much, didn't have to. Winter, pitching and hauling pulp out of Milner Ridge in the 1952 blue Tag axle truck. Fixed a few bikes and too many old cars for me when I hit sixteen. Later in life I enjoyed a few summers hobby farming with him again working his magic with some old equipment. He wasn't much of a drinking man BUT anyone who was fortunate enough to spend an evening of drink with him got some first class entertainment. - Posted by: Bev trask (Brother) on: Jan 21, 2015

Debbie, Your dad always had a smile and a hello when he would see me. Last year I was in the Pinawa hospital in March, and your dad was in too, he remembered me from Edward street. We would sit in the T.V. room and talk about the people that grew up on that street over the years, where they were now. He was good company on the long boring days in there. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Tammy and your families at this difficult time. - Posted by: Mary Schwolman (Friend and Past Neibougher from Edward Street) on: Jan 20, 2015
