We are shocked to learn of Marcel's passing. It was just recently during our first hit of cold weather that memories came back of he & "marianist brother" Paul watering the hockey rink at Provencher school. Marcel had voluntered many hours of his time maintaining that ice so that the rest of us could enjoy. He also was one of the original founders of the St Boniface Flyers hockey team in the early 1960's. He was also instrumental in organizing the 25th anniversary Flyers reunion, which we all reminisced at a restaurant & at his St Boniface home. Even the new years eve parties at the Royal Alex will never be forgotten! Marcel's zest for fun was infectious to all. We offer our deepest condolences to Annette & family, Marcel was truly an unselfish & genuine friend! - Posted by: gerry & julia berube (winnipeg friend) on: Jan 30, 2015
