Condolences & Memories (12 entries)

  • Our condolences to Dave and Derek and families; your parents were wonderful neighbours on Allenby and we are so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. We have some wonderful memories of him when our kids were very little, especially Heather. Gary helped me (Eleanor) a few times when Heather locked me out of the house and he just expertly kicked on one of the doors in the right place I guess and I was in and very grateful to him. He was always there when needed to help if he could. Our thoughts are with you Dave and Derek; unfortunately we were away when he passed, otherwise I'm sure we would have been at his service. God Bless! - Posted by: Gord and Eleanor Brunette (neighbours from Allenby Crescent days) on: Feb 18, 2015

  • Gary was a good guy and a good firefighter. We worked together and shuffled through a lot of the same ashes. I learned from Gary and so did a lot of young guys. He did a lot of good. I hope he enjoyed his retirement. - Posted by: Scott Miner (Co-worker) on: Feb 08, 2015

  • Gary taught me the importance of helping others. As in his career, he did not do this for recognition. It was just something that he did. Thanks, Gary. - Posted by: Barry Prosyk (friend and neighbour) on: Jan 29, 2015
