LOUISE MARIE ANGELINE BERARD (née AUDETTE) December 8, 1933 - January 26, 2015 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear Mom and Mémère, Louise Marie Angeline Berard (née Audette). Louise passed away peacefully on January 26, 2015 at the Riverview Health Centre, surrounded by her family. She has gone to meet her great love and husband, Henri. She was predeceased by her parents Didace and Cécile Audette of Saint-Pierre-Jolys, Manitoba, brothers, Lucien (Aldéa), Emile and sisters, Agnès Vermette, Sister Marie-Ange Audette, Emilienne Vermette, Irène St. Hilaire, Annette Proulx and Cécile (Félix) Jolicoeur. She leaves to mourn her children Gisèle Vandal, Lorraine (Marcel) Gauthier, Renald (Carlu) and Jacqueline (David) Howerter, and her grandchildren Shaun, Jennifer, Chantelle, Natalie, Danielle and Aidan as well as five great-grandchildren. Louise also leaves to mourn her brother Marcel (Yvette), her sisters Alice Pineau and Yvonne; her in-laws Roger (Mona) Berard, Tony (Marian) Berard, Gilberte Roy, Sister Emma Berard, Charles Berard, Maria Berard, Grace (Phil) Cormier, Joe Segal, as well as her loving extended family and friends. Louise was a very loving person and always made sure those close to her knew how much they meant to her. The family would like to thank the residents of Place Eugénie for all of your love and support for these past 16 years; you were great friends to our Mom and Mémère. The family would also like to thank the doctors and nursing staff at Riverview Palliative Care Unit 3E. A special thank you is extended to the Palliative home care team that enabled our Mom and Mémère to stay in her cherished apartment as long as possible. In lieu of flowers, donations in Louise's memory to CancerCare Manitoba or the charity of your choice, would be greatly appreciated. Please give a hug to all of your loved ones as our Mom would have. On t'aime beaucoup Mémère, à la prochaine. Eulogies will be delivered at 9:45 a.m. and service will commence at 10:00 a.m. at the Saint-Boniface Cathedral, 190, avenue de la Cathédrale, Winnipeg, Saturday, January 31, 2015. Interment will be held at a later date.
