  • Father Ron was my grandpa and was there for me since the day I was born. I still can’t believe it has been four years on Thursday Not a day goes by where I don’t miss and think about you. I love you so much Father Ron and I hope you're dancing in the sky with the angels ❤️ Till we meet again 👼🏻💙 - Posted by: Skyla Arnott (Grandfather ) on: Jan 22, 2019

  • Father Ron was one of my favourite customers at Penner Foods on Henderson Hwy for many years. He always stopped and talked to anyone. He made a point of coming through my checkout at Penner Foods so we could talk. I went along with him once to play music for an Anglican church service out of town. I don't remember where but he was well loved by the welcome he was given. He was a faithful servant of his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Until we meet again. - Posted by: Reinhold Pauls (Friend) on: Sep 25, 2016

  • Father Ron has been on my mind a lot lately. I am saddened to see he has passed but am comforted knowing he is in heaven and watching over us all now.I had the great pleasure of being his hairdresser for a number of years. He was such an inspiration and we had many great conversations. I am a much more open person for knowing him and continue to work on those qualities that I saw and admired in him. He did me the honour of bringing his friends in to see me for cuts and I had many great conversations with them all. I can only imagine the amount of people who are missing him now. Count me in amoung them. You are forever in my heart Father Ron. And I can only hope to be an inspiration to others like you are to me still. You lived your life by following your heart a living example of how we should all do our best and help our neighbours. To his family and friends I send you love and light. Peace be with you all and keep his brilliant smile close to your hearts. - Posted by: Tammie Wyttner (Friend) on: Mar 27, 2016

  • We are sad to just read of Pastor's passing. He was a family friend of the Millers across the street on Consol Avenue for many, many years, and practically lived at their house. The Millers and the McCulloughs enjoyed many dinners and vacations together, down east and in Winnipeg. He performed our marriage ceremony, along with many other family and friends. We remember Pastor as a friend, enjoying a cocktail and sharing in our lives. We will remember his smile, his laugh, and the kind words he always had for us. God bless Pastor and his family. - Posted by: Lori and Wayne Miller (friend) on: Feb 05, 2015

  • Father Ron and I worked together at the Diocese of Rupert's Land and more recently when he volunteered at Beacon Hill Lodge. His love for his ministry and for the residents was evident when he continued to come and conduct services even when his health was failing. We will all miss him. His wonderful voice, his presence and his ministry will live long in all of our hearts and forever in mine. Rest in peace my friend. - Posted by: Chris Salstrom (Friend) on: Jan 31, 2015

  • I had the pleasure to work together with Ron when he was rector of St. George's in Transcontinental and I was pastor of Blessed Sacrament Parish. Ron was a true pleasure to work with and embodied a spirit of Christian ecumenism. My prayers and condolences go to his family and many friends. - Posted by: Fr. C. • It is with great sadness that we heard of the passing of Father Ron. Chuck and I met Father in 2008 and he immediately made a great impact by stating that he was going to marry the two of us one day. True to his word, in 2012, Father blessed our marriage. Father was a true friend to both of us and he will be greatly missed. Our condolences to his family and friends and Wayne and Doreen, of whom we had the pleasure of being introduced to and becoming friends with through Father Ron. - Posted by: Teresa & Chuck Mackelson (Father Ron made a great impression on our lives and ed by the both of us. • My deepest condolences to his entire family. I have been so very blessed to have had Father/Uncle Ron in my life. Ron's great-niece, Jennifer married my stepson Jeff. Recently, Father Ron also officiated at my husband's funeral service/celebration of life. Thank you, Uncle Ron for being the wonderful person that you are. God Bless. You are a truly amazing person.
