KENNETH SYDNEY WILLIAMS May 15, 1924 - January 20, 2015 Ken passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital at the age of 90. He was predeceased by his wife Joyce Williams, parents Rachel and Sydney Williams, his brother-in-law Allen Burdett, sister-in-law Betty Burdett, and brother-in-law Ron West. He is survived by his sister-in-law Jean West, his sons Peter (Vickie), Paul (Judy), David (Wayne), John, his three grandchildren, Sean (Angela), Carla (Darrin), Tegan (Karla), and his four great-grandchildren, Caleb, Jacob, Ethan and Scarlett. Born in Coventry, England, he came to Winnipeg, Canada in 1955 with his wife Joyce. Ken was a devoted husband, father and soldier. Some of his pleasures in life included music, artwork, gardening, photography, family vacations and beach days. Ken will be remembered by many for his charming and caring nature. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Victoria Hospital for the compassionate care they provided during his three month stay and especially in his final days. A family service was held on Friday, January 23 at the Parkway Retirement Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. We all miss him and say a sad goodbye.
