Mr. & Mrs. Cumber came to see me many times at my office when they were in the Mall at Polo Park and got their car insurance at our office. They were both very nice, friendly people. I went to school with their daughter Lynn. Please accept my condolences. Rest in Peace Mrs.Cumber. - Posted by: June Cowan (Dye) (Friend of Mr. & Mrs Cumber and also Lynn) on: Feb 05, 2015

I first met Lygia at her grandaughter Kari's Wedding to my son, Mark, in Vancouver. Kari had told me many memories she held dear of her grandparents over the years of her upbringing and why she held them in such high regard. In later years I would understand that esteem very well. I wish to send my sincere condolences to Albert and all the family. Verna Studer - Posted by: Lygia Cumber (Mother of Kari' s husband, Mark Studer) on: Feb 02, 2015

We will always remember your laughter and fun when we met you in England and your wonderful hospitality and cooking when we came to Winnipeg. Every time we walk through Sheen Park or Mortlake we will think of you and smile. With love from all of your family in London. - Posted by: Alan Cumber (Nephew) on: Feb 02, 2015

Your family in UK have fond memories of you over many years of shared holidays and your cooking which was legendary with Icelandic specialties. I remember the fun we had, your knitting skills and love of music and dancing. You will be sorely missed by us all. Our love to Albert and all the family. - Posted by: jean cumber (sister-in-law) on: Feb 02, 2015
