Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH ANTHONY (JOE) GRABISH In loving memory of Joseph Anthony "Joe" Grabish or as we all knew him "Papa Joe" passed away peacefully on January 25, 2015 at the Elizabeth Centre in Val Caron, Ontario. He left behind a beautiful legacy of family. Beloved father of son Larry Grabish (wife Diane), four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; son David Grabish (wife Dominique), two grandchildren; daughter Donna Cail (husband Ron), four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; daughter Corinne Roy. Special Father to Erron Howe (wife Liz), two great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren; Derek Howe, two great-grandchildren and predeceased by one great- grandchild. Predeceased by his parents Stanley and Tekla Grabish. Dear brother of Stella Harrison and predeceased by Ted, Walter, Tom, Mike, Wanda and John. Joe was loyal hard rock miner with INCO. Resting at Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St., Sudbury, Ontario on Monday, February 2, 2015 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Followed by a visitation at the Gilbart Funeral Home in Gimli, Manitoba on Thursday, February 5, 2015 after 12:00 noon. Funeral service will be held at the Gilbart Funeral Home Chapel Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Interment at the Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Lung Association and Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

Papa Joe Grabish had this fantastic rock garden in Sudbury with over 600 flowers he planted with his wife Pauline through the years. I know that many of us friends got to enjoy the beauty. Take care in Heaven Papa Joe, I will miss you so much. - Posted by: Liz Howe (Buddy Liz) on: Feb 01, 2015
