Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTEVEN LUCYK March 3, 1926 - January 28, 2015 Born in Komrnao, Manitoba on March 3, 1926 and passed away peacefully on January 28, 2015 in Surrey, B.C. Steven grew up in West Kildonan and is predeceased by his parents Sam and Mary Lucyk, sisters Anne and Pearl Wilkinson (Charles), brothers John, Mike, William, Nick and James. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Lillian, son Dave (Cath), grandchildren Janice, Emily, Stephanie and his favorite pet, Coco. Steven and Lillian were married August 6, 1949 at St. Michael Parish in Winnipeg, MB and were long time members of Holy Trinity Cathedral and All Saints Parish, Winnipeg, MB until they moved to Vancouver, BC. Steven worked at Eaton's for 44 years. Funeral service to be held on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 14660 72 Avenue, Surrey, BC. A special thanks to Dr. Aggarwal and nurses Elmya and Sharanjit at Surrey Memorial Hospital.

He was one of my favorite uncles my dad Mike was his brother and we use to visit him and his wife in Winnipeg when we were younger and enjoyed singing songs with him from his old music books. When I was young I would go to wpg. on my way to the farm and I would visit Uncle Steve & Auntie Lillian usually at the bay, I believe he worked in small appliances then, and then I would go to see my Auntie Ann in mail order, I am sorry for your loss and I deeply remember my Uncle Steve ,he was always good to me and I will miss him. thanks to my aunt Mary for letting me know. - Posted by: Diane Seymour (Lucyk (neice) on: Jan 31, 2015
