MORTON DC May 7, 1946 - January 26, 2015 (or January 27 IDL) It is with great sadness our family announces the passing of our brother, uncle, cousin. David resided in Australia, where he leaves to mourn his wife, Jan, his daughters Alitta (Adam), Nadine (Brendan) and his grandson Phoenix (Grandpa's treasure). David grew up in St. James-Assiniboia and after graduating from CMCC in Toronto, he moved to his forever home in Australia where he set up his chiropractor practice. Our Canadian family wants our Australian family to know our love and thoughts are with you. "Fair dinkum "

Dave and I met during our years at St. James Collegiate and became good friends. Our time was spent at the local pool hall, The Matador Restaurant, and the Morton family cottage at Lake Nutimik. Those years are what I still consider to be "The good old days." I lost a good friend. - Posted by: Gary Platsko (St. James buddies) on: Mar 03, 2015

I'll miss our interesting conversations these past few years. Lost track of David after leaving St. James in 1963 but reconnected in 1969. Then nothing for about 45 years. Hard to believe but we met again on the internet. I've enjoyed meeting David's family and learning of his career and retirement. I looked forward seeing new pics on Facebook. A good man who obviously had a wonderful life and left us with some great memories. He made a difference. - Posted by: Dave Warrilow (Old St. James friend.) on: Mar 01, 2015

Sad to hear of the loss of David. The Mortons were such a part of my life at Nutimik lodge, they were so good to my family. Fred tells the stories of Brian and Dave at the lake. Brian, Jim and Marion will be there to greet Dave and share the good times. Take care Jan, Lynne, Kathy, Darren, Laurie, and families. Love Janet. - Posted by: Janet and Fred Wilson Whibley (Freind) on: Feb 02, 2015

Thank you for making David the man he was, and supporting him in his journey to become a Chiropractor. He is now out of pain, and is probably adjusting the angels. - Posted by: Jan (Janet) Morton (wife) on: Jan 31, 2015
