Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN ALLAN MACDONALD August 7, 1936 - January 30, 2015 It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our loving, caring husband, father and grandfather, who passed away peacefully with loving family by his side at Deer Lodge Centre. Left to honour John's memory is his wife Pearl, of 59 years, daughter Sharryl (Ted), Darla, and Gloria (James), grandsons Matthew, Jacob, Zachary and Jason, granddaughter Alison (Scott), brother Jim, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. John was predeceased by his parents George and Gertrude MacDonald, brothers Ken (Marjorie), Bill (Betty), sister Ruth (Dave) and sister-in-law Shirley. The family wants to thank the dedicated and compassionate staff of Lodge 4 East, Deer Lodge Centre for the constant care and understanding shown to John and his family for the past two and one half years. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 25 at 1:00 p.m. at the Highway Pentecostal Church, 1680 Saskatchewan Avenue West, Portage la Prairie. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R3A 1P6 or to the Deer Lodge Foundation, 2109 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R3J 0L3.
