FLORINDA LADIMO TORRES Peacefully on February 1, 2015 at Deer Lodge Centre, Florinda passed away at the age of 59 years. Florinda leaves behind to mourn her passing her daughter Sherry Lyn (Hung) Lam; grandson Jin Lam; sisters Virginia Torres, Christina Demesa, Rowena Pelagio and Teresita Torres; brothers Edelberto Torres, Joselito Torres and Leodigario Torres; nephew Irwin Torres; niece and nephew-in-law Marivic and Eric Licuanan and their children Michael, Mark and Megan Licuanan. She was predeceased by her brother Julio Torres and Nephew Toting Bernardo. Florinda was born to the late Josephina and Salvador Torres in Manila, Philippines on November 6, 1955. She graduated from the Family Clinic School of Radiologic Technology in Manila, Philippines. After graduating she worked in the field of radiology in various countries, such as Australia and Papua New Guinea prior to settling in Winnipeg, MB. Florinda was a loving mother, sister and aunt. Her beautiful smile, sense of humour and kind nature will be greatly missed.
