Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • My parents, Andrew and Suzanne Chang, came to Winnipeg from Asia in 1963 and stayed there for thirty years. In that period they were steadfast friends with a small group of friends who had all came from China, among whom were Peggy and HP Chang. They had dinners together, played mahjong, went out to dinners, almost weekly and helped to make Winnipeg a home and community for all of them, including Martin and Angeline Yeh, Eugene and Irene Yeh. Although this group moved to Toronto, Edmonton, Vancouver in the 80s they kept up with another and were always in each other's thoughts. My parents have both passed away, but I know that they would have wanted me to express their sympathies on their behalf to HP Chang, and mourn with him and his family the loss of their beloved Peggy. - Posted by: Ernie Chang (son of Andrew & Suzanne Chang, good friends of Peggy and HP) on: Feb 23, 2015

  • I am writing on behalf of my deceased parents who were such good friends with Peggy and HP. I myself enjoyed meeting a lovely couple who were so much in love. God bless her having gone onwards to a better place and hoping that the loving and supportive family left behind can find peace, harmony and the will to build towards a better future for her future generations. - Posted by: Stephen Chang (My parents were very good friends with Peggy.) on: Feb 13, 2015

  • Dear Uncle HP, Lawrence, Auntie Kathy and Patrick, Our deepest condolences to all of you. We remember Aunt Peggy for her kindness, generosity and her delicious cooking. She shared her home lovingly with her friends and family. With our deepest sympathies, Nancy, Terry, Rhiannon, Danika and Kira - Posted by: Terry Wong (Friends) on: Feb 08, 2015
