RETIRED CAPTAIN LESLIE "SCOTTIE" MITCHELL CITY OF WINNIPEG FIRE DEPARTMENT On Sunday, February 8, 2015, at the Grace Hospital, Leslie passed away peacefully at the age of 83 years. Leslie is survived by his wife Sheila, his daughter Hilda and his grandchildren Meagan and Kyle. Leslie was a proud Firefighter and served his City for 37 years. He was also a member at the Masonic Lodge for over 50 years. He was a proud Scotsman who loved his home in Canada but never forgot where he came from. Leslie's constant smile and the twinkle in his eye will be missed.
