Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWALTER HORODECKI After a brief illness, on Wednesday, February 11, 2015, Walter Horodecki of Poplarfield, Manitoba passed away at the age of 81 years at the Arborg Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nadia, daughter Arlene (Manfred) Lang, son David Horodecki, and grandchildren, Michaela and Dylan Lang. Walter was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Dora, sisters Kay, Anne, Jean, Frances, and brother, Bill. Walter was born in Poplarfield and lived in the area for most of his life. He worked in the construction industry and later for Manitoba Highways (Poplarfield Maintenance Yard) where he retired after 20 years service. Walter also was a grain farmer and loved working out on the fields. In respect for Walter's wishes, cremation has taken place with a private immediate family interment to follow. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Donnelly and staff at the Arborg Hospital and to the doctors and staff at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg for the care provided.
