Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • I know as I type this out has been nearly 7 years after her passing. I wanted to thank her for bringing me out of my dark times and having to struggle with Autism. Giving me muffins and playing dominos together at school. I really wish I was there for her wake and funeral but thank you Glendis for everything you can did for my until I reached age 12. As of today I am turning 20. I send my regards to her family and if they get this message. I want to see her grave for once to finally thank her. - Posted by: Oliver Dorie (Best friends to the very end) on: Apr 20, 2022

  • Always smiling and laughing, Glendis did everything with love, kindness and generosity. She saw the humour in everything and one felt loved and happy in her presence. She adored children and they knew it. My three boys had the pleasure of knowing Glendis when they were little and they all loved her dearly. Recently, "my baby" Julien met her and the gentle and totally adoring way she took to him was wonderful to see. If anyone should have been a mom it was Glendis. Her many, many babies, at school and within relatives' families will miss her greatly. There are no words that can express how profound I feel the loss of her in my life. - Posted by: Sherry Meade (Cousin) on: Feb 20, 2015

  • Dear Thelma, Charlie, Charlie, and Ferlin, I am so sorry to hear of the sudden passing of Glendis. I remember Glendis as being a strong girl and a good and faithful friend who had a good sense of humor. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Kind thoughts and prayers are sent your way as you go through this difficult time. - Posted by: Kristine Hessner Bowes (Childhood Friend from Balmertown Ontario) on: Feb 20, 2015

  • My condolences to Glendis' family. I knew Glendis in our childhood at Wanipigow School, many years ago...she was a happy-go-lucky girl, always quick to smile and share a joke. May you rest in peace. To her family - she was far too young to leave us. - Posted by: Madelain h. Neveau () on: Feb 20, 2015
