Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNORA EDITH SHINDELL May 16, 1935 - Birmingham, England February 12, 2015 - Edmonton, AB It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Nora Shindell at the age of 79 years. Nora is survived by her husband Ben, brother Arthur (Pat) Stephens of Winnipeg, MB, four nephews, two nieces, sister-in-law May Isherwood and brother-in-law Ray Shindell along with many close friends who will miss her dearly. Nora was a long time member of Lions Club and Royal Canadian Legion and a tireless volunteer. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, February 24 at 2:00 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Chapel (16204 Fort Rd., Edmonton). Inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of other flowers or tributes, Nora has requested that donations be made to the Edmonton Humane Society.
