SYMEN BOHDAN ARSENYCH February 16, 1953 - February 2, 2015 Symen's journeys through life took him from Winnipeg, MB where he was born February 16, 1953, to finally settling in Edmonton, AB until his passing February 2, 2015, just days short of his 62nd birthday. Along the way he met and made many friends who cared for him as much as he cared for them. He loved being outside and especially loved roofing in the great Alberta outdoors. Symen is survived by his sisters Irene (Dennis predeceased); her children Laura and Chris (Mel), Halia (Ed) and their children Toosha (Paul), Walter (Natalie), Sara and Stephen; special friends Jesse, Jonathan, Lyle and Paulette and numerous friends. Symen is predeceased by his parents Wasyl and Anastasia and elder brother Myron. Special thanks to the staff of the Royal Alexandra Hospital for their exceptional care during his brief illness. Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • Good morning I was so heavy burdened so so sad to hear of Symens passing. Tough times for all of us Jayson Global Roofing - I would like to have been with family at Jayson Global Roofing to share in the celebration of life for Symen. Symen was a loyal friend, a truly valued member of the Jayson family and it goes without saying a member of the Bunce family. He will be missed it so hard to say good bye but knowing he is in a better place and with our dear founder…. watch out the boys are back in town. Symen and John were friends till the end and upon johns passing Symen was there for my children and myself I will be there in spirit for him and his family. I personally want to take this moment to say that he did a great job and represented Jayson Global with pride in every job he undertook - he was instrumental in building Jayson Global Roofing to the company it is today. Good bye Symen we will miss you. Never get to share that picture of John's new grandaughter with you but I know you see her looking down. We too often get caught up in daily tasks and forget to say thank you so thank you again Symen for being a great friend to me and my family always.
