ANNA MUC On February 19, 2015 Anna Muc passed away peacefully at the age of 92 years. Born and raised in the western Ukraine, Anna worked as a young woman on a German dairy farm during The Second World War and relocated to Canada at the end of the war. Winnipeg was her home for the majority of her life and it was there that she found satisfaction in initially being a home maker and later working as a house keeper and a home care provider. She always took great pride and satisfaction in her family, her home, her plants, and her little companion dog Chico. Anna will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Michael (Brenda) Mucz, Stephania (Paul) Apall, and Harry (Kathy) Muc as well as her six grandchildren. Her gentle spirit and kind heart will remain an everlasting memory to them all. The family also wishes to thank the staff at Holy Family Nursing Home for the loving care and attention provided to her in the latter difficult years of her life. A Prayer Service will be held at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 737 Bannerman Avenue, on Wednesday, February 25 at 7:00 pm. Anna's remains will be interned in Holy Family Cemetery at a later date.
