OLGA BRETHAUER July 3, 1918 - February 20, 2015 It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my mother Olga. I was there to comfort her in her own home and surround her with love until the end. I will miss her and her kind and gentle ways. Olga is survived by her son Don; numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family. She was predeceased by her husband Dave and her brother William in 1977. The family would like to thank Palliative Care staff for their support and compassion. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 26 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Olga's memory to the Fire Fighters Burn Fund. Cropo Funeral Chapel 204-586-8044

  • Olga will be greatly missed. I will always treasure my memories at the house where she always had to offer a snack and a drink, as well as the times I met her and Grandma at the church to play Bingo with them. There are also the times when mom would take us to Eaton's to meet Olga for lunch when we were girls (her favorite store). I know Olga and Grandma are together, no doubt playing cards or Bingo. My sympathies to you Don. She will forever be remembered. - Posted by: Lisa Haight (Great niece) on: Feb 24, 2015
