IVY RODNEY Peacefully and suddenly on February 17, 2015 at Health Sciences Centre, Ivy passed away at the age of 88 years. Ivy was born and raised in Portland, Jamaica. She immigrated to Canada in 1988 where she worked as a nanny for many years. She loved going to garage sales and spending time at Eaton's. Ivy leaves to mourn her passing her children Dulcie, Eunice Lynn, Earl, Elaine, Raymond, Barbara and Pauline; sisters Leonora and Estella, as well as numerous extended family and friends. Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 6, 2015 at Calvary Temple, 440 Hargrave Street, with a public viewing at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Vital Cemetery. Hello Auntie Ivy, I miss you. You are not forgotten, I remember you always and forever. I wish you were here but you are not. I miss your face and your smile, it is rough because you and Grandmother are gone I hope you have found peace. You are my Angel and I know you are ok. Ivy ivy oh I will miss u sooo much u always helped me with my spelling or math , I remember every time we went downtown u would always walk instead of busing haha you loved to walk I also remember you and grandma loved to watch CFL football or if it wasn't watching football you and your sister would make yummy Jamaican food good memories.
