Uncle art, you have the biggest heart, you always shared it with everyone. When you & Aunt Ruth came east, & we came west, there was always lots to do, when Marty was very young, we had all come for a family vacation. I can remember, you had taken the trailer to Lake Winnipeg a few days before we arrived, you were so excited that we would all be going to the beach to make sand castles and play in the water, for a couple days. Everything was all set up & ready for our arrival. The day after we arrived off we went, 4 adults & 3 children all packed in your big boat of a car. Us. kids were so excited and it rained for 2 days straight, we had to come back to city or we would all go crazy , and never get the car out of the mud. We laugh for years about that. Love you forever. - Posted by: Marty & Family Mary Ellen & Famiy (Nephews & nieces) on: Mar 06, 2015

My dear Art, there are so so many memories, when Lorne & I & the kids visited the west, and when you & Ruth came to Ontario. We always had lots of laughs, and a great steak or two. Played lots of cards, and got pretty noisy at times. You & Ruth were always there to help everyone that crossed your paths, thru life. You are with Ruth & many family members now. It will be like a family reunion I am sure. Whom is going to cut my grass? You will be sadly missed. Joyce - Posted by: Joyce Blue (Sister in law) on: Mar 06, 2015

The family visited in the late 60's, and my sister and I got to sleep and hang out in uncle Art and aunt Ruth's trailer( listening to a transistor radio and reading comics) in the backyard. I remember him taking us to see the parliament building, he said around noon every day somebody came out with a pail at the foot of golden boy (on the top) so he could have a pee in the pail. Being only 9 yrs old I was very disappointed that we had missed it that day, but he told me next time we would come before noon and catch it. That was the running gag for years to come. "May the peace of Christ be with him and Auntie Ruth". - Posted by: charles inder (nephew) on: Mar 05, 2015

R.I.P My Dear Uncle. You Surly deserve it. You can say more in one sentence than others needed volumes to do. You and your beloved Ruth helped so many and kept it to yourselves. I will miss you tremendously. Your nephew Wayne Blue - Posted by: Wayne Blue (Nephew) on: Mar 05, 2015
